Wollensak 11 Stereo 3D Film Camera - vintage
Excellent Condition
Two Chicago, Illinois companies coordinated their products successfully in the 1950s and 1960s. Revere produced cameras featuring lenses made by Wollensak. And after commercial success with the Revere Stereo Camera , Wollensak decided to market a camera with their brand. Revere produced a special body for the Wollensak Stereo Camera (identical to the Revere except for the new leatherette covering).
Statistically the Wollensak has super fast f2.7 Amaton anastigmat lenses, and a wide range of shutter speeds: T, B, 1/2 second to a fast 1/300 second, while retaining all the other features of a Revere stereo camera such as coupled split image rangefinder; shutter cocking , automatically with film advance; flash synchronization with a dedicated hot shoe.
Besides the high quality of the Wollensak lenses and shutters, the outstanding features of fast f2.7 lens expanded the capabilities of low light photography. And, especially, the super fast shutter speed of 1/300 second opens much more versatility with the higher ASA (DIN) films of today. These features make the Wollensak 11 Stereo Camera a premium choice amongst the field of possibilities.
