The Wallachian Open Air Museum in is the largest museum of its kind in the Czech Republic. It is thematically divided into three areas - Wooden town, Valasska dedina and Mlynska dolina - in which original wooden buildings transferred from the terrain as well as copies and reconstructions of historical buildings stand in the natural landscape. The museum appeals to visitors of all age groups through exhibitions created on the basis of real stories of individuals or entire families living and working in Wallachia in the past.
