Cabrillo National Monument is at the southern tip of the Point Loma Peninsula
in San Diego, California, United States. It commemorates the landing of
Juan Rodríguez Cabrillo at San Diego Bay on September 28, 1542.
Special On-Location Reels were sold "on location" and were unable to be ordered through the View-Master catalog. They were commissioned by the specific location to promote business, and the production numbers were limited.
The images on On-Location Reels are often different from production reels even if a production set was made for that location.
Condition:
non-Kodachrome, image color dyes have faded to magenta image retains its full color and there is NO spidering, NO mold, NO violet spots, No bubbling on the reel.
