Antique Linex Stereo Subminiature Camera
by Lionel (the train people) - 1954
vintage
One of the few production suminiature stereo cameras,
Lionel, the train people, made their only entry into the
3D stereo craze of the 1950s.
A quality camera of sturdy cast metal, making 16x20mm
exposures on 16mm film. Synched guillotine shutters
for 30mm f8 lenses, its continued popularity and
collectibility stems from its honorable place with
both stereo camera collectors and subminiature
camera collectors.
Condition:
although offered without warranty, its condition
is excellent and functioning, ready for either of its
dual-purpose roles, as historical specimen
for display and/or for a fun shooting experience.
