Navajo Bridge is the name of twin steel arch bridges that cross Marble Canyon in Grand Canyon National Park. The first bridge, completed in 1929, replaced the ferry service at Lees Ferry, which had operated since 1873. The original bridge is closed to vehicles but open fro walkers and equestrians. The new bridge opened in 1995 and carries traffic on US Route 89A. Both bridges are 470 feet above the Colorado River and are ninth highest among bridges in the United States.
