How to Maintain, Repair, and Improve Your V-M Model "D" View-Master Focusing Viewer, by George A. Themelis - NEW - 1995
Soft cover, spiral bound, 9" x 11", 54 pages
In order to get the ultimate usage from your Model D, it must work properly. The lenses are of the two-element air-spaced design and tend to fog with time and that means that every 2 or so years, the lenses must be cleaned.
The model D looks simple but is very complex to take apart and put back together properly. To reach the lenses you have to take apart the reel advance mechanism. That's the simple part....wait until you need to take apart the electrical contacts!
This 50 page book is absolutely needed to work on a Model D viewer. It is spiral bound and contains lots of pictures and diagrams, guiding you through the basic maintenance and repair work. We at 3Dstereo.com do not recommend taking apart your Model D without this book. It is absolutely necessary.
