Complete with Dedicated Light Attachment
A most precision stereo slide viewer made by Hugo de Wijs of the Netherlands in 1999. Constructed of machined aluminum with interchangeable coated achromatic lenses yielding 5X magnification, individual eye focusing, and interocular adjustment.
The unique design has a pop-out metal chamber when installed one way, it allows for standard stereo mounted slides 45mm x 107mm for formats from Nimslo/half frame all the way to full frame mounts.
Install the pop-out metal chamber inverted and it allows insertion of 2" x 2" slides (for horizontal or vertical images to 24x36mm), and even superslides.
A viewer for all 'miniature' photographic formats.
The de Wijs viewer is a grab-light viewer or with the atttachment of the include 'light attachment' powered by four AA batteries, super bright daylight color comes from the installed LED bulb.
Regarded as the penultimate stereo slide viewer for the last quarter of a century, opportunities to possess one are extremely limited.
