Nimnica is a spa village and municipality in Púchov District in the Trenčín Region of north-western Slovakia. During the construction of the water reservoir in 1952, a profuse spring was discovered in Nimnica, which was an impetus for the origin and development of the local spa.

Meopta reels remain very desirable because of their scenic subject matter featuring locales in Eastern Europe, never covered by Portland's nor Brussels' View-Master production. They show an unvarnished Eastern Europe that View-Master would never think of showing and so their images are more real and true to life.
